I started my career as a professional software developer 17 years ago. My first paid project was an email gateway system written in Visual Basic. Before that, I used to hide files in Dos using attrib +h, build nice little birthday reminder tools for my mum in gwbasic, call myself developer and astronomer, fail to learn C++ at the age of 12 and handwrite tons of lines of code while being in school.

Since than, I worked for multiple companies (most notably MTV Networks Europe and Wimdu), using multiple languages ( mainly VB, PHP, C#, Objective-C, Ruby and Rails) on multiple computing platforms as employee or freelancer. I founded my own company Phunkwork a few years ago and co-founded URGE IO (which is running the awesome versus.com).

Today I work as VP Engineering for Wimdu in Berlin, I love to buy and collect books (not sure if I will someday read all of them) and I seem to develop a passion for information systems theory.

I'm engaged with a lovely girl and Iove Snowboarding, Kitesurfing, Wakeboarding, Bouldering, Diving and Longboards.
